AfDB Business Opportunities Seminar: a one-stop forum for doing business with the African Development Bank

The main purpose of a BOS is to present the business opportunities arising out of the Bank Group’s financing. Presentations are intended to provide an overview on the Bank Group’s policies and operations; procurement rules and procedures; and ongoing and potential country operations.

This is aimed at increasing the participation of business communities of beneficiary countries as part of the Bank’s operations and other public-private partnership activities in Africa. Invitations are open to representatives and participants from member countries. A minimum of 100 participants is required to undertake a BOS.

The Bank Group organizes BOSs twice a year. The target participants are: individual and consulting firms, civil works contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, commercial attaches of embassies from the regional and non-regional Bank Group’s members.
